Posted: Nov 09, 2010 09:34:11 PM ClearCase shows an error message (shown below) while trying to run cleartool 'describe' command from the client

cleartool: Error: Timed out trying to start vob_server for vob ccadmin01:D:\Clea
rCase_Storage\VOBs\Sistemas\web\w_totalplay_vob.vbs
cleartool: Error: See albd or vob error logs on host ccadmin01

When I execute the command from the client, the vob_server appears started up on windows task manager on the server but after a couple of minutes shows the error message on the client. I've turned off windows firewall, checked up ports, changed vob_server.exe, vobrpc_server, albd_server properties to run as an administrator but it didn't work. The server Operative System is Windows Server 2008 R2 and ClearCase 7.1.2.

Can anybody help me please?

Thanks
