System Integration Test Engineer

Below are the client's requirements for the System Integration Test Engineer
Required Skills from the system integration test engineer:
- A good understanding and experience in GSM/UMTS L1 control
- Basic GSM/UMTS L2/L3 design/implementation knowledge
- Good knowledge of real time operating systems, RTOS
- General knowledge of embedded systems design for example ARM cores, memory, peripherals, DMA, cache, MMU, etc / schematics reading.
- Experience in UNIX, WIN, C, C++, SDL, Lauterbach, GSM/UMTS test equipment, MAKE, ClearCase, ClearQuest
- Experience in SW Configuration and Change management
(Version control, release management, SW repository architecture)

Description of the activities of the System Integration Test Engineer:
* Trouble analysis
- Reproducing of SW trouble on internal host-/target test environment
- route cause analysis of trouble and hand over to SW specialist
- Trouble correction in case of HW platform related issues (memory map, heap sizes of SW processes, ..)
* Integration testing
- perform regression tests for new SW releases
- perform individual test-cases to prove a specific SW correction
* NAS/GAS/UAS Host-test
- maintain and execute host test system for NAS/GAS/UAS for the purpose of PS trouble analysis
- creating, updating and executing NAS/GAS/UAS test cases on host, based on specified test cases and 3GPP specs

Availability for short term trips to the customer site is desirable.
