Our client requires a Release Administrator and Developer for a contract role in Bicester. Responsibilities of the role are anticipated to include, but are not limited to:
Planning and preparing software releases. Deploying software releases to test and production environments. Software configuration management. Developing the required functionality within the Oracle 10g environment, based on designs produced by the current project team, and in line with the required project standards. Unit testing. Support to Test team personnel during System and Integration Testing, and resolution of defects as required. Carrying out Peer review of colleagues work. Producing and/or updating any relevant documentation.
Must have the following experience:
Experience of Oracle Fusion 10g (ESB and BPEL). Experience of Ant scripting. Experience of configuration management, preferably using ClearCase. Experience of release planning, preparation and deployment. Experience of Oracle Application Server. Experience of Oracle Database Administration. Experience of developing in XML. Experience with Oracle SQL / PL*SQL. Experience of developing in Java. Experience of developing Web Services. Experience of XSL/XSD/XQUERY. Experience of Unix/Linux scripting. Generic design and build skills/experience. Practical integration experience. Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Knowledge of JMS implementation
Knowledge of AQ/MQ implementation. Knowledge of JDBC implementation.
