Software Confirguration Manager
My client, a leading financial services organisation has a new requirement for a Software Configuration Manager to join their busy team provding support to the development and test teams across the Europe offices.
You will be responsible for providing admistration of the ClearCase environment, which is heavily centralised on a Unix solution. The department also includes end user support and mentoring for these tools as well as others in the Rational Suite to include Rose and Requisite Pro.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following;
*Administration of IBM Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, and HP Quality Centre
*Reviewing and amending Perl and Shell scripts
*Liaison with peers and other areas of the business
*Drive process enhancements and liaise with architecture group to ensure strategy is being followed and adhered to
*24x7 support on a rota basis
Skills required for the role;
Essential
*Rational Toolset
*Shell Scripting error investigation, and Unix operationg system issues
*Knowledge of Unix (Solaris and AIX)
*Perl programming
*Unix Shell scripting
*Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
*MS Office suite
*HP Quality Centre
*Experience working in an analytical and diagnostic role
Desirable
*DB2 and Oracle
*MS Windows Server
*ITIL and/or ISO2000
*Agile
*HTML
*Maven/Ant
*Remedy call logging
