Subject: "Unable to access, filename may be illegal" - by: SLM

We have one person (only one) getting this error when they tried to add a new workfile in PVCS. (v. 8.0.0.3 Build 550). No one else has this problem at all. I've had him reinstall PVCS, delete the "Merant" directory altogether, reboot, use full path to the repository instead of a mapped drive, and lots of other things, nothing works. No one else gets this error. Here's the full error message:

"Unable to access, filename may be illegal, the filename may already exist as a directory, part of the directory path may already exists as a file the TEMP directory may not exist, or there may be insufficient privileges." His priviliges are the same as everyone else and the TEMP file is there.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.
