In a presentation at ALM EXPO today Drew Showers talked about Forge.mil, a DoD Application Lifecycle Management platform using a SaaS on-demand model enabling agile development in the cloud. After one year and nearly 7000 users, Forge.mil has influenced the creation of procurement legislation defining an agile acquisition process. This effectively enables agile development for the DoD.
