I am finding the way to insert "revision no" into the source code which is placed and managed by DIMENSIONS. (which is C files)
It seems that it is possible by using "Header Substitution, but I cannot find any detailed information related to the issue.
Please, let me know how to do it.
1. Is this something you had and lost? If so, could you restore from backup?
2. I'm not sure, being too different DB's if they'd ever match as far as the key UID's and stuff.
3. If the other two haven't killed the thought yet, I guess you could create a baseline based on a filter for the items you want. and if it have some extra items or is missing items, you can create revised baselines until you get it correct.
4. How you get a baseline from one DB too the other, I have no idea.
I know this wasn't very helpful, but at least it might spark some discussion. 
Does anyone have experience of the Serena ChangeMan Migration tool, to transfer the database to Dimensions CM?
If so would you recommend using the tool for the migration of data, or does the migration tool not work, or is the setup to difficult to make the effort of setting up the tool worthwhile?
