• At least 6 years experience in software development and maintenance (i.e. software requirements analysis, software design including object oriented analysis and design, coding, testing, documentation, configuration management, user training, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance).?



• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field may be substituted for six (6) years of experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field may be substituted for four (4) years of experience. Note: In no case shall the contractor receive credit for more than six (6) years of experience based on education.



• Knowledge of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration for Software (CMMI-DEV) model.??



• The candidate shall have knowledge of relevant DOD standards for software testing and documentation.

In accordance with the specific requirements of the DO, the S/W Eng shall have one or more of the following skills:

? Experience in designing and developing multi-tier web applications using languages such as Java,, developing and validating user and system requirements, writing design documents, test plans and test results, and assessing architecture and current hardware limitations and recommending solutions.

? Experience in designing and developing applications using ?C?, Cobol, Java, ColdFusion, and Adobe Flex development tools.? The candidate shall be knowledgeable in using SQL and PL/SQL to access Oracle and SQL Server databases.

? Experience in the development of applications utilizing software frameworks (e.g..: Spring, Hibernate, Struts, and JUnit).

? Working knowledge of Java APIs such as JDBC, JPA, and EJB.

• At least 5 years experience and an excellent understanding for planning, developing, and implementing Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) processes or process improvement tool expertise.



• Experience in the application of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration for Software (CMMI-DEV) model.



• Experience in interpreting and verifying whether projects are in compliance with the CMMI-DEV model.



• Experience with executing, overseeing, analyzing and reporting status of software process improvement activities.



• Expertise with CMMI Process Areas (Pas), with in-depth expertise in at least two.? These include project management, configuration management, quality assurance, risk management, requirements management, verification, and validation, technical solutions, and measurement and analysis.

As an IBM WebSphere Technical Specialist/IBM WebSphere Administrator you will be responsible for the infrastructure build for project delivery and resolution of complex operational problems.

You will be part of the technical support team covering both 3rd level support and project support, from design through to implementation and you will need to ensure that work is completed by the committed date.

You will be responsible to quickly resolve errors, to maintain good customer service and prevent service impact.

You will require the following skills:

Essential:
* Appropriate experience in the IT industry and experience in a WebSphere V5 or V6 Administrator role
* A keen understanding of WebSphere High Availability issues and impacts within a complex multi-platform environment
