Cleartrigger refusing to lnname-sometimes (ClearTrigger Forum)

I have (at least) five developers (unsure about all, but haven't found anyone yet who can) who cannot add files to source via a snapshot view in Windows Explorer or CC Explorer.  It fails with the CLEARTRIGGER_1 refusing to let lnname proceed.

They CAN add it in a snapshot view via command line (co directory, mkelem, checkin elem)

They CAN add it via a dynamic view.

Any ideas on what might be different in the snapshot in an Explorer?  Note that we just upgraded to 12.3.9 and use a cname to access the Windows Depot.  The cname was just redirected to a new server.  Unfortunately those both happened at the same time and appear to be coincidental to the add problem.  I don't know when the last time someone was successfully able to add so I can't say that it is absolutely the cause, but since the whining just commenced, I'm guessing that one of them can be implicated.

Permissions appear to be the same on both the old and new server.  Help?

Word Properties Trigger (ClearCase Forum)

Hello.  I'm trying out the downloadable Perl trigger for updating Word Custom Properties with the Clearcase Version ID.

It updates the version value within that custom clearcase_Id property, but when I try to get it to display on the Word cover page, it pulls it in the first time, but after that it does not increment with each checkin (though the property itself does).. How to you get the field to update in the doc as well? 

Also, I'm a little scared to use this trigger because it is giving me the blue screen of death about every 5th time I use it and I'm not sure why.

Unable to remove clearcase view (ClearCase Forum)

Hi All,

We have checkouts (3 files) in one activity created on one year back .  Now we have to remove those files . Since it has checkouts in old view , we have to remove the view.

In the version tree of that file , it is shown as checkdout ..but view tag is not available . But it is showing the view storage directory . But unfortunately in our view server that storage directory is not available . Hence i 'm unable to remove the view using rmview. 

How it can be resolved? Please help.
